Washington College Bound Scholarship
Website

This four-year scholarship covers the cost of college tuition, fees and books for low-income students who sign a pledge in 7th or 8th grade promising to graduate from high school and to demonstrate good citizenship. The purpose of the program is to motivate and prepare students to pursue a college education.

    Eligibility:

  • Students who are eligible for the free and reduced-priced lunch program
  • Families who are receiving TANF benefits
  • All foster youth
  • Families who meet the income standards

This program pays full tuition and required fees, and is renewable for up to four years. You can qualify for this award if you:

  • Are from a low-income or lower middle-income family in Washington and meet State Need Grant or Pell Grant requirements.
  • Apply to WSU by January 31 and enroll as a full-time freshman or transfer student.
  • Complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) beginning January 1 and no later than March 1.

In general, if you’re from a family of four with an income of $46,500 or less, you could attend Washington State University tuition-free.
